Editing
For a great editor, it can be a little bit challenging to show off your work. After all, the best editors don’t get noticed. When they’re done with a blog post or a white paper or an e-book, it’s going to be picture perfect, but there’s not going to be a sign they were there. With that in mind, I’ve included a few style guides that I created in my time as Element Three’s chief editor—one for the marketing consultancy’s brand itself, and a couple I created for client teams. Additionally, you can take a look at the Element Three Marketing Toolkit, which was re-edited and updated every year.

As editor, I touched almost every single piece of written content that Element Three produced, both internally and for our clients. Every single blog post, as well as most if not all of the downloadable resources and, really, the whole Element Three website, fell under my purview. That meant not only carefully proofreading for accuracy, punctuation, and grammar, but also editing with an eye for style and form. I rewrote and revised where necessary to take every piece of content to its greatest potential.
