Dealer floorplan financing

“For an independent dealer who’s just getting started with floorplan financing, you might hear terms like ‘curtailment’ and ‘advance rate’ and your head starts to spin. But simply understanding the vocabulary can go a long way towards making things as easy as possible as you transition from paying in cash to flooring inventory.”
One of the goals of Automotive Finance Corporation’s content was to make the transition from paying for inventory purchases in cash to paying with a floorplan loan as seamless and simple as possible. And, of course, another was to improve our standing with Google and establish autofinance.com as an authority on the subjects we wanted to talk about. A glossary was a great way to move towards achieving both goals at the same time.
This glossary became a pillar page itself, with branches expanding on the definitions of a number of terms we covered within the glossary—like curtailment payments, floorplan audits, and non-auction purchases. But it also acted as a branch of our “What is floorplan financing?” piece, therefore deepening the internal linking scheme and providing users with a number of jumping-off points to learn more (and spend more time on the website).
